Here is the recording to help you with memorization of the text since we were not confident during today's after school rehearsal. Listen to it lots tonight! We'll go over the text again in class to make sure you're OK for the concert tomorrow night.

Chanticleer is known around the world as “an orchestra of voices” for the seamless blend of its twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass and its original interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz, and from gospel to venturesome new music.
Now in its 37th season, Chanticleer has been recognized by numerous awards including: multiple Grammy’s®, Musical America Ensemble of the Year, Chorus America’s Education Outreach Award and induction in to the American Classical Music Hall of Fame.
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair will be hosting Chanticleer in concert on Saturday, November 7 at 7:30PM. We are hoping to get a group of NHHS choir students to attend this concert. Cost is $15 per student and would include transportation to and from the concert. We would meet at the high school at 5:45 so that we can be there when the doors open at 6:30 to get the best seats (the sanctuary has open seating). The concert should run around 1.5 to 2 hours in length, so we would return to the high school by around 10:45PM.
If you are interested in attending, please sign up on the clipboard in the Choir Room and bring in your $15 as soon as possible so that we can order the tickets. Chanticleer is a very popular group and the concert is sure to sell out once word gets out about it! Once we have payment and have secured the tickets and bus, permission slips will be distributed.

About the NHHS Symphonic Choir
The Symphonic Choir is the mixed vocal ensemble of the high school choral program. All 9-12 boys, and junior and senior girls are a part of this ensemble. Symphonic Choir members may also audition for the extra-curricular North Hills Singers, and may participate in the Madrigal Choir. The Symphonic Choir has performed with the River City Brass on their holiday concerts, with the Wind Ensemble on combined classical works like Carmina Burana, and collaborated with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on their landmark "Singing City" concert in April 2013 in a massed choir of over 1,500 voices.
