As we discussed at our meeting in September, this is one of our major fundraisers and a lot of help is needed to make this a success. There are various subcommittees involved including meal prep, salads, dinner rolls, drinks, desserts, decorations, ticket sales, raffle baskets, 50/50, supervising student servers and supplies. Many of you signed up already to volunteer….thanks!! We will also be looking for donations of food items or money to help with the meal. There will be a planning meeting next Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Chorus Room where we can discuss all of the above in more detail.
Summer Cookout – all the items for this basket have already been purchased during clearance sales. Any monetary donations towards this would be appreciated.
Christmas/New Year’s – scented candles, Christmas music CDs, kitchen towels/pot holders, serving platters, holiday-shaped cookie cutters, Christmas cook book, lottery tickets, noise makers, sparkling juice, etc.
Family Fun Night – DVD movies, board games, card games, puzzles, popcorn, pretzels, drinks, snuggie, etc.
Basket of Cheer – This basket could use flavored vodkas, rum, whiskey, shot glasses, margarita mixes, etc.
Note: If you prefer not to send in Basket of Cheer items with your child, I can make arrangements for pick-up with you.
